I approach therapy through a psychodynamic framework, in which I work with you to understand the sources of your pain and suffering and how they relate to your current symptoms. Additionally, I also incorporate evidenced-based treatment such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples (EFT). I will tailor a treatment to fit your unique needs.

YOUNG ADULTS
Young adulthood is a time of transition and this time can bring with it confusion, a sense of fear, and sometimes a failure to launch forward into our lives. It is also a time of great possibilities and new beginnings. In my work, I guide young adults through the process of solidifying their identity and working through any barriers along the way.
ADOLESCENTS
Adolescence can be both the best and worst of times…often simultaneously. A time where we experience heightened emotions, leaving us filling jubilant in one moment and defeated in the next. This time can be especially tumultuous for some, leaving both adolescents and concerned family members in need of support. In my work with adolescents I incorporate family work to help create a healthy family dynamic where the adolescent can thrive.
COUPLES
In working with couples, I create a safe and impartial space where each individual can be heard and develop the capacity to understand his/her partner’s feelings, experiences, and motivations. My role is to facilitate this communication process and help the couple move past stuck places in their relationship. Through this process, you and your partner will begin to have new experiences of each other, paving the way to a healthier relationship.
PREMARITAL COUNSELING
Premarital counseling is an opportunity to explore the dynamics of your partnership and develop a plan for your marriage. You and your partner will have a space where you can strengthen your existing relationship through exploring the goals of the marriage, dismantling any fears of marriage, improving communication, and enhancing conflict resolution.
